In ARC Raiders, the Dam Battlegrounds is where things get messy fast. You are dropped into a fight for survival against the ARC’s toughest machines, and unless you gear up properly, you are not going to last long. The loot here is not just random junk—there are certain hot spots where high-end weapons and blueprints tend to show up. Knowing where to look, and how to get in and out alive, makes all the difference. If you are aiming to upgrade your firepower, you will want to track down these rare finds and put them to work. And yes, that means hunting for the right ARC Raiders Items before someone else gets there first.
The Dam Battlegrounds is a mix of risk and reward. You have got ARC patrols everywhere, plus elite units guarding the best loot. High-value gear is usually stashed in locked rooms, supply crates, or even on the wreckage of downed Raiders. Clearing these areas is not easy—you are going to run into heavy resistance, and the ARC do not give up easily. On the flip side, you can walk away with rare schematics, weapon parts, and pre-built guns that can turn a fight in your favour.
Central Control Tower: This is the ARC’s main stronghold in the area. It is packed with enemies, and the upper floors are crawling with elite Sentinels. If you can get past them, check the control room and any locked terminals you find. You will need a keycard—usually dropped by one of those Sentinels—or a successful hack to get in. Inside, you might find blueprints for weapons like the Havoc rifle or the Volt-Caster, both of which are serious upgrades for mid-to-late game battles.
Sub-Level Maintenance Tunnels: Under the dam, you will find a maze of narrow corridors. It is dark, cramped, and full of Stalker-class ARC units that like to ambush you. Keep your guard up and look for sealed maintenance bays or supervisor offices. These spots often hide weapon lockers with a good shot at holding the Bulwark shotgun or the Stinger precision rifle. The first is perfect for close-range brawls, the second for picking off targets from a distance.
Crashed Raider Transport Ship: Out on the eastern side, there is a huge wreck from a transport ship that went down hard. The ARC are already stripping it for parts, so expect a fight. Push through to the cargo hold and the bridge—those are your best bets for finding the captain’s locker or secure containers. If you are lucky, you will come away with the Obliterator rocket launcher blueprint, which is exactly what you want for taking on big ARC units like Titans.
Finding these places is one thing. Surviving them is another. A good approach is to start with recon—use a drone or binoculars to check enemy positions before you move in. Spotting elites early lets you plan your route and maybe even slip past without setting off the alarm. Going in loud is fine if you are ready for it, but you will burn through ammo and medkits fast.
If you are rolling with a squad, split up the roles. Have someone ready to hack, another to carry heavy weapons, and someone watching for flankers. EMP grenades are a lifesaver against machines—throw one, and you have got a few seconds to hit them hard. And always be ready to revive a teammate; losing someone in the middle of a push can ruin the run.
One more thing—do not ignore elite ARC patrols. They have a much better drop rate for rare parts, and sometimes they will drop a blueprint outright. Hunting them down can be dangerous, but it is a steady way to gather the materials you need for crafting. Once you learn the layout of the Dam Battlegrounds and get your tactics down, you can make these runs regularly and keep your arsenal stocked with top-tier weapons. That is how you turn the fight around and start pushing back against the ARC—armed with the best gear you can get, and a few well-timed ARC Raiders Items cheap to tip the odds in your favour.
